Many sources have confirmed that upgrading to a golf cart lithium battery can bring several benefits to golf cart owners. Increased mileage is one of the main ones: Lead-acid batteries can typically travel 15-25 miles on a charge, and the cart may start to lose speed the lower the charge gets, while golf cart lithium batteries can easily reach over 40 miles without slowing down. Some brands of lithium battery can even drive nearly 100 miles before needing to be charged. When a lead-acid battery gets very low, it can sometimes take up to 18 hours to fully recharge, and sometimes may be too low to pick up a charge – when this happens, it will need to be supercharged. Lithium batteries do not have this problem, and can easily bounce back from being at as low as a 5% charge, recharging in just a few hours. Typically, lithium batteries take about 5 hours to fully recharge. Lead-acid batteries last around 1-2 years before they need to be replaced, while some lithium battery brands can last up to 10 years, saving customers expenses in the long run. Other benefits include less weight on the golf cart – switching from a system of lead-acid batteries to a single lithium battery can take up to 400 pounds off a cart -, and no harmful fumes – lead-acid batteries are filled with hazardous chemicals that can be harmful if touched, but lithium batteries have none, and require no maintenance either.

BSLBATT Golf Cart Lithium Batteries

Our newest type of lithium battery we’ve begun stocking has been the BSLBATT lithium battery, available as 67AH, 104AH, 134AH, and 156AH models. BSLBATT’s rugged battery management system (BMS) is installed in every golf and marine battery. The state of the art battery management system protects the batteries from under voltage, over voltage, and will shut the battery down if a cell is out of balance. LifePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) is the safest battery chemistry available, and is non combustible / non flammable. The BSLBATT’s BMS is integrated in each battery and will detect any problems with the performance of the battery and shut down any cells not functioning properly. The BMS will also protect the batteries from over-charging or undercharging. BSLBATT batteries are great for long term storage. To store correctly: fully charge the battery, unplug charger, flip the golf cart switch to tow mode and press the power button on the side of the battery.

Allied Lithium Battery

The Allied “commercial” line has a Bluetooth enabled BMS that communicates directly with the Allied app. Available for Apple and Android phones, it will automatically set up with the battery. With the app, users can view the safety protection dashboard, as well as turn the charger on and off, and turn the battery pack on and off. The app can also tell you the remaining AH and voltage, remaining discharge time, as well as the remaining charge time current. Along with that, it will also state the amp draw current cell, temperature voltage of individual cells, and lifetime power cycle.

Recently, we’ve begun to deliver many more rentals to the Florida Keys, the chain of islands at the bottom of the state with hundreds of attractions for tourists to check out. Keys Golf Cart Rental is our newest website, where you can reserve a rental for delivery to any of the islands that make up the Florida Keys; pickup from one of our store locations is also an option is you have a trailer large enough to hold your desired golf cart.

Most activities in the Florida Keys relate to water, such as fishing, diving/snorkeling, boating, visiting the beach, swimming with dolphins, kayaking, paddleboarding, glass bottom boating, and many more, but in this list, we’ll go over just a few other attractions and points of interest to check out in each area of the Florida Keys, to make the most of your Keys golf cart rental. Key Largo Golf Cart Rental

As the largest and first island, Key Largo has many places to visit, including the Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center, where you can find over a hundred bird residents such as owls, falcons, hawks, pelicans, parrots, and more. Swimming with dolphins is also very popular in Key Largo, and many dolphin centers offer this option as either a one-on-one meeting, or snorkeling with a group of dolphins. Islamorada Cart Rental

Islamorada is called the “fishing capitol of the world” and is a great place for big game fishing, with opportunities to book a spot on a private charter or party boat for fishing near the Gulf Stream. Theatre of the Sea is also located in Islamorada, a marine park where you can swim with dolphins as well as see sea lions, sharks, stingrays, and sea turtles. For those interested in history and archeology, the Windley Key Fossil Reef State Geological Site has long walls of fossilized coral reef.

Marathon Cart Rental

Marathon is home to Key Colony Beach, where golfing is an activity – although many customers who rent our golf carts use them more for driving on the street. This is another area where diving, fishing, and water sports such as kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding are very prevalent; the Barge wreck and Sombrero Reef are just a couple great dive locations. Also in Marathon is the famous Seven Mile Bridge, and the Florida Keys Aquarium.

Lower Keys Golf Cart Rental

The lower Keys include Big Pine Key and several other small islands, including No Name Key, a very small location with a population under 100 where the endangered Key deer can be seen roaming among the trees. Key deer are a small species of deer only found in the Florida Keys, more specifically in this area, and on Big Pine Key, you can visit the National Key Deer Refuge and see 9,200 acres of land that includes hundreds of plant and animal species, 23 of which are endangered. Bahia Honda State Park, located just a few miles south of Big Pine Key, is ranked one of the best places to camp in the country, with one of the best beaches and dozens of spots for RV parking.

Key West Golf Cart Rental

Key West is the final island in the chain and is definitely where the majority of the attractions are located, with tons of history and places to visit. If you’ve ever seen a car with a Mile 0 bumper sticker, this is where you’ll find that mile marker – it marks the end of the highway US-1. Duval Street is where many interesting attractions are, such as a Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum. Key West also has a public 200 acre 18-hole golf course, so if you’re looking to rent a 2 passenger cart to easily travel around the golf course, this is where you’ll find one of the larger ones. One of the oldest cemeteries in the country is also located in Key West. If you’re a person who likes to bring back souvenirs, Key West is where you’ll find dozens of shops with products from T-shirts to keychains to decorations.

Fort Myers Golf Cart Rental carries a variety of golf carts available for rental, including both street legal and non street legal 2, 4, and 6 passenger carts. Our street legal golf cart rentals are less than a year old, and come with all necessary safety features that make them suitable for public roads with a speed limit of 35mph or less, with headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, horn, and a maximum speed of 24mph. For events or construction sites, we also have non street legal utility carts for rental, available with either a flatbed or a box bed. Fort Myers golf cart rentals are also electric, and give off no harmful emissions and hardly make a sound when driving. Along with our various types of golf cart enclosures available for sale at Prime Cart Parts, we also carry a variety of golf cart storage cover products for golf cart brands such as Advanced EV/Icon®, Evolution, and EZGO. Golf cart storage covers differ from our enclosures in that they completely cover the golf cart in black fabric, in order to protect it from dust or scratches when it is brought into a storage location like a shed. The high-quality material also protects from rain, UV-rays, sand, snow, fog, and other severe weather conditions. All covers are black, and have a zipper for easy covering and removal. Our enclosures have a similar function, but have see-through plastic windows for driving use. Both are made of high-quality materials to protect from excess wear and weather.

Many seasonal residents of south Florida, who travel up north during summer, are not sure how to store their golf cart in order to ensure the best protection for the cart body and batteries. An LSV has a tag and a title and can drive on public roads with a speed limit of 35mph or less, and include a number of safety features such as headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals, horn, side view mirrors, windshield, and a maximum speed of approximately 24mph.

With multiple delivery locations across south Florida for our golf cart rentals, our fleet of rental carts includes several different brands, including the most common Club Car, EZGO, and Yamaha carts, while also other popular, newer brands such as Advanced EV, Aluma, Bintelli, Evolution, Kodiak, Elite EV, and more. Recently, we updated our golf cart gallery across our various rental websites to include more examples of some of our most popular rental golf carts. We also added some pictures of our utility carts to our golf cart gallery, with flatbed and box bed carts being available for rental.

Most often, our non street legal carts that are rented for occasions such as events, job sites, construction areas, security, parades, or shuttle transport, while our street legal carts are able to be driven on any public roads with a speed limit of 35mph or less. In Fort Lauderdale, where one of our rental stores is located, this includes roads such as A1A (beach road), Las Olas Boulevard, Andrews Avenue, and Sistrunk Boulevard. One of our most popular golf carts in our fleet are our Advanced EV carts, which are frequently used for street legal golf cart rentals. Along with the many carts we have available for sale and rental, we also have a variety of Advanced EV golf cart accessories available at our Advanced EV parts site, advancedev.net. Some of our most popular include the side nerf bars, which create a step on the side of a 4 passenger or 6 passenger golf cart for easier mounting and dismounting, and our shortened roof supports for lowering the roof of a lifted golf cart by approximately 4 inches, for easier access into a garage. Our main location in Riviera Beach, FL, has over 6,000 square feet of space for our many different brands of golf carts. New golf carts include brands such as Advanced EV, America EV, Bintelli, Aluma, Evolution, and Kodiak, and we always have hundreds of used golf carts in stock as well, from the common brands EZGO, Club Car, and Yamaha, along with others such as Star. All of the different golf cart brands we have for sale can be found at our main site, Prime Golf Cars. Recently, we’ve added a new type of golf cart to our fleet – the Termite mini golf cart. The Termite mini golf cart is a 36V golf cart and is perfect for campers and RV enthusiasts that want to take a golf cart along for the ride, but don’t have the room for a regular sized one. You can take your mini cart with you in practically any pickup truck, motor home, van, or with optional carriers and towing accessories.

Our 4 passenger Termite mini cart is currently available as a 4 passenger cart, with 2 seats facing forwards and 2 seats facing backwards. The back seats can also flip over to create a flat surface for transporting small materials. Depending on the terrain, the Termite mini cart can reach a maximum speed of approximately 10-13mph.

We’re committed to providing the best service to ensure that you get the most out of your golf cart. With routine service and maintenance for your golf cart, you’re guaranteed many years of dependable operation and use. We offer golf cart service for a variety of industry-leading golf cart brands, such as EZGO, Club Car, and Yamaha, as well as various brands such as Advanced EV, Icon®, Evolution, Tomberlin, and more. You can expect a swift, professional diagnosis from our factory-trained technicians and specialists. All of our parts and accessories come with a warranty to ensure your total satisfaction. In addition to our competitive prices, we are also well-equipped to work on all golf cart types, styles, and models available in the market.

Our mobile golf cart services currently available include:

Battery Service

Test voltage one by one and all together; test load capacity on single batteries
Check tightness of cables and connections, replace bad cables
Clean any corrosion
Check water level – if low, technician adds distilled water to bring up to proper level
Test cart to make sure it drives, plug in cart to check that charger comes on

Supercharge

Check water levels before charging
Supercharger connects to all batteries of a 48V cart
Supercharging takes between 1-4 hours

When a cart is done supercharging, it had enough power for its regular charger to take effect and begin recharging it.

Tire Changes

Our tire services are usually called to change a flat tire. We will:

Loosen lugnuts, jack up cart, remove and replace wheel
Standard golf cart tires are 18-8.5-8; we can change up to a 14 inch tire
Customers can also provide a tire that we can put on
